Google Places Waits for No Business

Google Places Local Search Optimization

If you’re following any of my latest activity, you’re probably a local business and you likely fall into one of two camps. A) You have a listing on Google Places local search but it probably has a couple of reviews, if that, has no optimization, and has no “STAR” ratings. or B) You have a negative review and you’re wondering how to hide it. I deal with this DAILY!

First of all, if you do have a negative review, you can’t get rid of it. It’s there. Deal with it. But you can learn how to BURY it in a pile of fantastic review, as long as they’re not from your employees, cousin, spouse, brother, or business partners. Google has ways of knowing if you’re spamming your own listing with padded testimonials. They’ll kill your listing quicker than you can say SPAM! I can help you.

If you don’t have any reviews, or you just have a few, you’re virtually invisible on local Google search, which is the most important search there is if you rely on local business. Until you have at least 30 reviews, and then are committed to adding more weekly, you’ll be playing catch up very soon. Smart entrepreneurs are figuring out the power of local search optimization and social media right now and theirs will be the businesses that leverage it over the next three years as it explodes.

Don’t get caught with your pants down. Get your listing optimized today!

Local Google Search EXPLODES!

Local Search Growing Faster Than General Search

http://www.clickz.com/clickz/news/1705653/local-search-growing-faster-than-general-search

The use of localized search services such as Internet Yellow Pages is outpacing generalized Web search when people are looking for location-specific products, services and information, says a new study.

The study, performed by comScore Networks and commissioned by TMP Directional Marketing, found that local search grew 24 percent this year, while general search on Google, Yahoo, MSN and other sites grew at 14 percent.

The study also found that 82 percent of the people using local Web search sites follow up their research with offline action, including in-store visits, phone calls, e-mails or purchases. TMPDM said the finding shows advertisers cannot ignore the importance of integrating their online and offline marketing and advertising efforts.

TMPDM CEO Stuart McKelvey said 61 percent of those using local search sites eventually made purchases. He also noted that while print directory advertising, a $15 billion per year industry, remains larger than online local search, estimated to be a $9 billion market, print is static while online is growing.  <CLICK HERE TO READ ARTICLE>

Breaking News!

Medical Pros are Winning with Social Media!

Dentists and Doctors are driving new patients to their practice monthly at a FRACTION of the cost of traditional local marketing.

I’m constantly asked, “Daren, so how are your dentists, surgeons, and family practice doctors getting these results?”

“It’s easy”,  I say. “They’re just coming up with $50-100 per day to run their social media programs. That includes my fees and I do all the work. That’s it!” You see, social media is twice as effective at 1/10th the price.

With my system, just $50-$100 per day is worth your entire marketing budget. The best part is, if you become one of my clients, I only take on a hand full of services in each given industry. And I’ll stay loyal to your campaign while your local competitors  try to figure out how you’re dominating on the internet. I won’t tell if you don’t.

How does it work?

It’s all about leveraging the largest trend in the US:

Years to reach 50 million users:

third largest.

  • 78% of consumers trust peer advice
  • 82% of people using local social
media act offline to online info
